Summary of Donations to Sands
When we lost Stewie, we received incredible care from the bereavement and midwife team at QEH, supported by SANDS. SANDS is the leading stillbirth and neonatal death charity in the UK. It exists to reduce the number of babies dying and to ensure that anyone affected by the death of a baby receives the best possible care and support for as long as they need it. SANDS is the driver behind Baby Loss Awareness Week, a national campaign to raise the profile of baby loss and encourage anyone bereaved by it to reach out for support. It is also an opportunity to commemorate all the babies lost.
